ipsy glam bag | august 2016

how i just recently discovered Ipsy is beyond me.

i fell down the rabbit hole of subscription boxes. i’m collecting a bunch of nerd block jr boxes for my sons 6th birthday for him to open all at once (it’s going to be awesome) and t started looking around for boxes i might enjoy and that’s how i came across ipsy.

ipsy is a subscription service for beauty products. each month you receive a make up bag with deluxe samples and full sized products for $10us per month. with me being Canadian i pay an additional $5 for shipping and with the conversion rate it ends up being a little under $20 per month.

i LOVE make up, and i don’t purchase too many things for myself so i thought why not?

my August glam bag came in and i brought it to the studio to open and it took so much willpower not to open it in the 3 minute drive from my house to the studio. it comes in this fun bubble mailer, the brightness makes it all that much more exciting.

once you open it you see your make up bag with a promotional card. the bag is a nice quality and i’m obsessed with the image.

the first item i pulled out was this formula x nail polish in the colour dollface. it’s a pretty baby pink colour and it came in a 4ml bottle.

the next item i pulled out is a pro serious applicator sponge by beau gachis. i misplace these all the time (my daughter loves playing with them) so they are always a welcome addition.

the third item i pulled is this OFRA highlighter and i LOVE it! i’ve already used it a few times and it is such a pretty and shimmery highlight.

next is the marc anthony nourishing argan oil of morocco deep hydrating treatment. i have extremely dry hair so i was very happy to get this!

the last product in my glam bag is by this works. it is the in camera close up mask, moisturiser and primer in one. i have had the chance to use this and thought it was fantastic!

that was my august glam bag! i really loved it and think i will be Ipsy obsessed for the next few months. i’m already counting down the days until my september glam bag comes in.

if you want to take a look into Ipsy i recommend giving it a go at least once! you can follow the link here to subscribe.

Hello would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with?
I’m looking to start my own blog in the near future but
I’m having a hard time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs
and I’m looking for something completely unique. P.S Apologies for
being off-topic but I had to ask!
